THE EDUCATIONAL KIT The Ephrussi Villa offers a very useful educational resource that will help primary school pupils and those in the first two years of secondary education to enjoy an exciting and rewarding visit. The kit is available to all teachers and consists of three elements:
- Un A reference book , that will enable you to prepare for your visit. Here, you will find all of the necessary information to answer your pupils’ questions. It will also help you to explore the site in the classroom.
- One treasure hunt for every three pupils. This treasure hunt will lead them on a fun and rewarding voyage of discovery!
The pupils have to solve the puzzles contained in this book whilst making their way through the Villa. During the course of this treasure hunt, pupils will learn about what they have been taught in class in a fun way, and will also learn to work together as a team. The first team to complete the treasure hunt will then be declared the “Winning Team” of the class and will be awarded a certificate of achievement.
-A graded educational worksheet (upper primary or secondary level), which is tailored to the school curriculum, and is designed to test what pupils have learned after the visit. This worksheet is also intended to round off your visit to the site and to provide pupils with the necessary skills required by the official curricula.
