An educational programme by the Culturespaces Foundation

The Culturespaces Foundation enables children made vulnerable by illnesses, disabilities, or social exclusion to have unique artistic and cultural experiences and that stimulate them and help them develop and fulfil themselves creatively.

To encourage these children to explore their creativity, the Culturespaces Foundation has developed specific educational and cultural programmes that are implemented in schools in high-priority educational networks, social organisations, paediatric hospitals, and homes for children with disabilities.

Entertaining and interactive experiences are offered in around a dozen cultural establishments in France.

By raising awareness about culture, art, and heritage in an inclusive and engaging way, the Culturespaces Foundation has succeeded in reconciling solidarity and creativity. This singular quality means that the Culturespaces Foundation has become a major actor in France in terms of promoting artistic and cultural awareness amongst vulnerable children.

The Culturespaces Foundation’s initiatives in the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild

Since 2018, the Foundation has enabled children to discover the gardens of the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild thanks to a tailor-made itinerary. In 2020, it launched a new four-stage educational programme entitled ‘Les secrets des jardins de la Villa’ (‘The secrets of the ViIla’s gardens’), which introduces children to the art of gardening and the rich architectural and natural heritage of their region.
