Autism & Heritage
This national initiative aims to encourage autistic children and teenagers to visit major cultural sites on a special visit or as part of a structured group outing. The Culturespaces Foundation is making specific arrangements for this project at 5 museums and historic monuments:
Practical information
Free access is granted to families with a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children on presentation of documentation confirming the child's disability (disability card or any other document from the MDPH [Departmental Home for the Disabled] confirming the disability, such as a notification of benefits, support from special-needs assistant, placement decision, etc.) and to groups from specialised care facilities and the accompanying adults upon booking.
A tailor-made visitor's guide can be downloaded in advance or provided on site if visitors leave an ID card with the site.
